It is the host city of the Texas Rangers‘ Ameriquest baseball Field and the Hurricane Harbor. TheDallas Cowboys‘ New Stadium is also situated in the city. It was founded in 1876 and was named after General Robert E. Lee’s Arlington House. An amazing feature of Arlington is that it is a twinned with Bad Königshofen, Germany since 1952. The attachment began when Kurt Zuhlke, a German town manager, visited Arlington in 1951. The city is a fast growing one in terms of population starting in 1950. This is brought by the establishment of the automotive and aerospace industry in the city.
